Injury Report 2/3/09
There have been some very serious injuries around the NBA to very good players. The first time All-Star Jameer Nelson, suffered a torn labrum in his right shoulder last night in the magic's loss to the Mavericks. There is a serious chance that he could be out for the rest of the rest of the season, that doesn't help his team's chance in the playoffs. Andrew Bynum injured himself in the first quarter in the Laker's win in Memphis, he tore the medial collateral ligament in his right knee. He will be out 8-12 weeks. The Lakers had a very high chance of winning the NBA Finals if Bynum could have played. His absence will effect the Lakers, but seeing Kobe last nigh, I'm not so sure about that. Finally, Chris Paul pulled a muscle in his groin and is doubtful to play tomorrow.
Kobe Bryant Explodes for 61 Points at Madison Square Garden
Kobe Bryant set the record yesterday for the most point ever scored in Madison Square Garden, scoring 61. Andrew Bynum will reportedly be out for 8-12 weeks, which could have huge playoff implications. Pau Gasol also stepped up and scored 31 points. The Lakers beats the Knicks with a final at 126-117. Don't be surprised if KB24 has a couple of more 50+ games in the near feature.

Cleveland Beats Detroit, 90-80
Well, the Pistons had this game won until they just stopped playing in the 4th quarter, only scoring 14 points. Lebron James finished with 33 points and 8 helpers. Mo Williams had 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. For the Pistons, Allen Iverson had 22 points, and the new bench player, Rip Hamilton had 16 points. The is a very disappointing loss for the Pistons, and a quality win for the Cavs, on the road.
